My first two prescriptions were about £32.00 each (a month apart). I was offered a card straight away but I didn't apply for one as I was a bit dazed and confused. By my third trip to Moorfields I had got my act together and arrived with it. The pharmacy were very honest with me the first time round and said I was going to be on the medication for a LONG time. I don't think I believed them when they said it. It was only when I started doing research into Birdshot that I realised they were trying to do their best by me!
