Registration is a simple process, but requires a little information about yourself. (Please see our privacy statement). In order to prevent spam your registration requires our approval. We will endeavour to do this quickly but you may have to wait 24 hours. You can register for access to the members area of the site by completing the registration form which you will find here, but you can also find the registration link and log in link at the bottom of the page in the right hand navigation bar.
Research material
This detailed research material on Birdshot may be useful to patients who wish to become experts on birdshot themselves or to professionals who don’t know much about the condition and want to be able to easily access research papers relating to birdshot and the various possible treatment in one place. The papers are written by medical professionals they are not intended for the patient. We include a short lay persons summary with the link to each paper to make them more accessible to the lay reader.
We would welcome new links to recent relevant research papers so that we keep this part of our site up to date.
Please note that you will need to register first and need to be logged in to be able to read these papers.
This is a resources area which we plan to develop. We would appreciate your suggestions for materials that we should include.
Posting
The Members area of the site will also contain a section where people can post messages to other registered members. This part of the site is currently under development. The idea is to allow people with birdshot to form a community, where they can exchange ideas and helpful tips and provide support for people newly diagnosed.
