Rea posted about this a few weeks ago. Along with Stephen Foster, Dagmar Cole from Birdshot Lefora, Rea has been actively involved in helping to shape the agenda for this exciting meeting for doctors and patients on 28th September 2013.
The Second International Symposium on Birdshot Retinochoroidopathy will be quite a different experience to the Birdshot Days we have organised in London. The symposium is for both physicians and patients. There is also a social gathering planned for Birdshotters on the Friday evening.

As you will see there is a really exciting list of speakers and it is a wonderful development to have so many experts with an interest in Birdshot in one room, at one time. BUS hope that useful partnerships will be forged to help the Birdshot community work together towards finding better treatment.
Please help us to spread the word, tell your consultants about it to see if they would like to attend.
Accommodation will be available at the Boston Marriott, Copley Place, Boston, (rate is US$209 per night) and there is also the John Jefferies Guest House which provides quite reasonable simple accommodation across the river.
There is a small fee for patients to attend of $50 to help contribute towards refreshment costs etc and you will need to pay this to book your place nearer the time.
If you are planning on coming please do contact BUS and we will add your name to the list so that you can be contacted nearer the time to confirm your attendance.
If you plan to travel from the UK to attend prices for flights vary quite a bit so it is worth watching for offers to see what comes up. Boston is a beautiful city and you could maybe combine the conference with a trip to New York or a visit to New England.
