We are very excited to announce that we are organising our very first Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot! This will raise vital funds, enabling us to continue the development of the Birdshot Uveitis Society through investment in research and ultimately preventing avoidable loss of sight.
Why not join us for this superb event which will be held on the 1st May 2013 at the prestigious Royal Berkshire Shooting School in Pangbourne, Berkshire? Each team of 4 will enjoy a fun day’s clay shooting whilst supporting the Birdshot Uveitis Society in the process, and whether you are an experienced gun or a complete novice, everyone is welcome to join us, as instructors will be on hand for lessons.
The day will commence with registration followed by breakfast and a stroll out to the various stands located around this beautiful venue in the Berkshire countryside. Here you will enjoy a good few hours of clay pigeon shooting, punctuated only by a mid morning snack out in the valley, followed by a champagne reception and three course lunch, with an exclusive auction of stunning items and a prize given for the best guns of the day.
If you shoot and would like to get involved by putting together a team, please see our invitation and registration forms for details. If you don’t shoot but would still like to contribute by giving an auction prize, sponsoring part of this fantastic day by branding it with your company logo and details, or making a cash donation we would be hugely grateful for any help you can give us.
