News On Stem Cells

They say that, in preclinical and clinical studies, MSCs have been highly efficient in treating lupus, multiple sclerosis and type 1 diabetes (these are all auto-immune diseases).  Somehow, the stem cells seem to have an immunomodulatory effect.

This is an exciting development, as we are always looking for less toxic approaches to our own autoimmune disease.
